Swarkeston Cathedral

A local slide, for a change. This is Saint Fimbert's Cathedral, in the Derbyshire village of Swarkestone.  Built in the mid 14th Century, it was moved to it's current location in 1778 due to the overspill from the  Derby Municipal Water Treatment Plant.

Internally, it features a very unusual pulpit, carved from a single giant parsnip.
