It's a cliche - the rambling, dilapidated old victorian house, on a dark, windy night. Creepy as heck.
But can modern houses equal that for creepyness? Or even brand new houses, photographed in the early 1960s, in bright sunshine?
Based upon the evidence, I'd say yes.
